"Ergonomic" means nothing — count the adjustment axes
Every chair here is sold as ergonomic. The word is marketing. Count the axes instead.
- Armrests tell you most. 4D moves four ways. 1D is height only.

Mesh vs leatherette: which suits the Indian climate?
Mesh is the better default in India. Leatherette looks premium and traps heat.
- Mesh breathes. Breathability draws consistent praise in reviews, and it matters above 35°C.
- Leatherette peels. It typically shows wear after two to three years.
- One leather chair is here. The HAVAI Prime will run hotter than every mesh chair on this page.
Choose leatherette only if the room is air-conditioned.

Budget for the assembly and the after-sales
These arrive flat-packed. That carries two risks the product page never mentions.

Most listings in this band advertise BIFMA, the American furniture structural standard. India has its own: IS 17631:2022, published by the Bureau of Indian Standards, which sets performance, safety and dimensional requirements for work chairs specifically.
