Resolution: read the pixels, not the headline
Outdoor camera titles inflate resolution. Trust the pixel dimensions, not the megapixel claim.
- "10MP" dual-lens is two 5MP views. You get more coverage, not more detail.
- Know the real numbers. 2560x1440 is genuine 4MP, 2304x1296 is 3MP and 1920x1080 is 2MP.
- Some "4MP" cameras output 1296p. Treat a missing pixel figure as a warning.

IP66 protects the camera, not the plug
Every camera here is IP66, which covers heavy monsoon rain on an exposed wall. The power adapter usually is not rated at all.
